'22 years earlier, me and Sukanya have got married in the movie Peddarikam, which was also released in Tamil at that time. Now we two are back with our 22 year old son, Mahesh Babu; He is 22 only as per our marriage', said Jagapathi Babu, during the tamil version audio launch of 'Srimanthudu', splitting the crowds into huge laughs.
Running on a quite high after watching the final cut of Srimanthudu, Jagapathi has quashed rumours that he's upset with his role getting a shorter duration. In fact he has praised the film as something audiences will rarely see. 'Mahesh is a committed, positive and superb co-star. His energy is what influenced me to perform much better. Similarly Shruti Haasan, daughter of Kamal Sir, is another perfectionist and energetic actor. Rest of the casting too helped me deliver much better performance', Jaggu Bhai avers.
Like they say, Be a Roman when you're in Rome, Jagapathi Babu has praised Tamil audiences to the maximum during his interaction with tamil media. 'Irrespective of who is the director, star or rest casting, Tamil audiences always encourage good movies, and I like that quality of them a lot', he shoots, making the onlookers clap for themselves. Hope these efforts work in favour of Selvandhan on August 7th.
