Popular Bollywood distribution and production company Eros Entertainment is quite hopeful of South Indian film market despite tasting some mighty blows due to their investments in utter flop films of big stars. Though trade circuits say that end-distributors have lost money but not Eros, while business analysts aver about Eros losing a chunk, this Company continues to invest in big films of Telugu and Tamil industries.
Two of the most hyped films of Mahesh Babu, 1-Nenokkadine and Aagadu have seen Eros buying the total worldwide theatrical rights of the films. Unfortunately both these films tanked in a row and now Eros has set sight on 'Srimanthudu' as they closed the deal on distribution rights last night. Just in case if Mahesh Babu scores a hat-trick with flops, then Eros' investment will be washed out completely, predict analysts. Close sources however informed us that Eros has signed the dotted line only after watching the final copy of the film this time. As the output stunned their marketing team, the bosses have sealed a late night deal to bring Srimanthudu into their catalogue.
Hope August 7th will be fruitful for this mighty company to whom Rajnikanth himself failed to deliver with a film like 'Lingaa'.
