In a shocking twist, an FIR has been registered against heroes Ranbir Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar for criminal breach of trust and forgery for promoting an online shopping site named "askmebazaar.com" which is said to be duping customers.
A lawyer named Rajat Bansal filed case against Farhan and Ranbir under IPC sections 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust) and 420 (forgery) on Saturday. He has purchased an LED TV on this site for 30,000 rupees but wasn't delivered to him even after 10 days. He accused that promotions by Ranbir and Farhan have led him to fall in the trap.
Police are investigating the matter, and it is heard that the online site couldn't be contacted for now.
