Suma, He's Not Sumanth Akkineni

Anchor Suma is easily the most popular of all the Telugu anchors and she even enjoys a huge fanbase across the Telugu states for her lively and eloquent anchoring of filmy events and TV shows. Suma is particularly admired for her flawless hosting on all the events over the years. But, even this hotshot anchor has committed a mistake on stage.

During the audio launch function of Akhil Akkineni's debut film Akhil, Suma was addressing all the Akkineni heroes by their full names as she went calling them Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Akkineni Akhil, and then made a blunder by calling, Akkineni Sumanth.

We all know, and most certainly, even Suma knows that Sumanth's surname is not Akkineni but Yarlagadda. However, the much celebrated anchor must have committed the mistake in a flow and on the spur of the moment and she might have surely realized it afterwards.

While making mistakes in such a huge public event is nothing surprising, coming from a perfectionist like Suma is definitely a huge surprise. Nevertheless, Suma did entertain the guests and celebs at the do with her lively anchoring throughout the night.
