<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If we look at the way "Dilwale" and "Bajirao Mastani" are performing at theatres, this could be understood easily. A flop content like SRK and Kajol's Dilwale collected nearly 3 Million dollars from USA box office already, while Bajirao Mastani just crossed 1 Million mark there. Though the fate of Dilwale is decided in first 3 days, that the film is a flop, it's still stunning that box office numbers are growing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Leaving B & C centres in India, but NRI crowds in overseas are educated and sensible. Still Dilwale made 3M and Bajirao just 1 M, indicating that, craze for heroes is not linked to education or any thing.</div>

Bajirao Mastani Upper Hand Over Dilwale

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="http://timesofap.com//newsimage1/cinema/2015/12/18/Bajirao-Mastani-and-Dilwale.jpg?i=75907" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="img" border="0" height="213" src="http://timesofap.com//newsimage1/cinema/2015/12/18/Bajirao-Mastani-and-Dilwale.jpg?i=75907" width="320" /></a>Bollywood baadshah Shah Rukh Khan is termed as king of box office. He is unbeatable when it comes to overseas market. Although his last movie Happy New Year was a dud, his latest flick Dilwale released today to sky-high expectations. In fact, this is second film in SRK and Rohit Shetty's combination after the then industry hit Chennai Express and it also marks the romantic star's reunion with his best on-screen lady Kajol. The film has few other positives too. Unfortunately, Dilwale disappointed SRK fans as well as romantic movie lovers due to pathetic narration.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the other hand, off screen love birds- Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's historical drama Bajirao Mastani has hit the screens today amidst huge protest from various political and non-political organizations. In fact, few early shows were cancelled in several centers. The film based on the story of Maratha warrior Bajirao Peshwa and his second wife Mastani, has faced the protests over alleged distortion of history.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fortunately, Bajirao Mastani, that is being praised as visual wonder has got overwhelming response from everywhere. May be, first day collections of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial are not on par with Dilwale, due to limited release compared to SRK starrer film and also for protests for controversies surrounding the project. However, with enthusiastic reports, Bajirao Mastani is sure to have the upper hand over Dilwale after the first weekend.</div>

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo First Day Box Office Collections

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

<a href="http://timesofap.com//newsimage1/cinema/2015/11/13/prem-ratan-dhan-payo-still.jpg?i=47716" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="img" border="0" height="213" src="http://timesofap.com//newsimage1/cinema/2015/11/13/prem-ratan-dhan-payo-still.jpg?i=47716" width="320" /></a>This week's big Thursday has proved a blockbuster and the box office has exploded to match the Diwali fireworks.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"After completing the film, I had a relatively off day and so I decided to look at the accounts. It's then that I realised that Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a very expensive film and if it doesn't make a lot of money, all this would amount to nothing."</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
That was director Sooraj Barjatya speaking about his expectations from new film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Mumbai recently and it looks like he has been nervous for no reason. The film, starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, has not faltered in the 'Dhan' department and has already broken records on its first day. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
According to Box Office India, PRDP closed day one with box office receipts in the region of Rs 40 crores net. This makes it the biggest first day in Bollywood history beating Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year which was last year's Diwali offering. It's also the biggest single day of all time, edging past the first Sunday figures of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and PK which were about Rs 38.50 crores net.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Box Office India also notes that PRDP sold tickets at slightly higher rates than Happy New Year and opened in more screens. The screen count, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, is over 5600 worldwide.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The film released a day after Diwali keeping the first day collections in mind. Sources say that the makers were looking at a big start at the box office and decided a Diwali day release wouldn't do justice to the film's budget considering that evening shows on Diwali don't do very well.</div>

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which stars Salman in a double role and reunites him with Mr Barjatya 16 years after Hum Saath Saath Hain, is the 49-year-old actor's second film this year after Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It has been panned by critics and there will come a day when reviews will matter to a Salman release. However, this film is not that film.</div>

A share of anywhere close to Rs 10 crore in just one day is something only few heroes were able to achieve. The Akkineni Scion has achieved this rare feat with his maiden flick itself. Tollywood Surprised By Kanche

For this film, Krish went all the way to the 1940 era and weaved a period beautiful love story set against the backdrop that nobody in India ever made a film with, the World War II.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Apart from the human emotions which Krish successfully portrayed in Kanche, it the brilliance in the making of the whole film that is surprising everyone, including Megastar Chiranjeevi. Firstly, Kanche's budget is just about 19 crore, admitted by Krish himself. Also, the film was shot in just about 55 days, which is nothing less than a miracle, considering the grand war sequences, explosions and other stunts involved.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This proves the meticulous planning and pre-production carried out by Krish and his main team members DOP Gnana Shekar and Art Director Sahi Suresh, who recreated the 1940s period setting and the war mood with equal panache. Not to forget, the stunningly realistic visual effects, altogether created an unbelievable Telugu film which stands tall among its counterparts across India.</div>
