It is known that sequel for hit film Geetanjali starring Anjali is on cards. According to the latest it is coming out that the sequel will not have Anjali but Colors Swathi will be doing her role. Buzz is Anjali increased her remuneration and filmmakers decided to replace her. Raj Kiran who directed the original is directing the sequel. However Kona Venkat who prepared script for the original is not part of the sequel.
