Unidentified activists on Monday staged a protest against Aamir Khan’s film PK in Bhopal and Ahmedabad and vandalized the Theatres screening 'PK' . Two multiplexes in Ahmedabad witnessed protest against film PK while theatres suffered damages by agitators.
According to Ahmedabad Police, some people have ransacked two multiplexes on Ashram road that are City Gold and Shiv. CCTV's covered their video footage and is available with the police. Cops are analyzing it to take stern action against those who are involved. They also turned down a poster of Aamir Khan in lobby of multiplex.
The film is facing protest due to Hindu organizations and youth on social media called it “anti-Hindu” . They even called for hashtag protest in Twitter with #protestPK while few others supported the movie with #SupportPK. The activists alleged that a specific scene in movie PK is making fun of a Hindu God. Practice of going to mandir has also been questioned in the movie. While the movie lovers state that it is just a movie and no sentiments are hurt. Police increased the security for theatres screening Aamir starrer 'PK'
