'I Decided To Become A Hero As A Kid'

Many heroes and heroines have stock answers when it comes to what they wanted to become when they were kids. Usually, all heroines have the stock answer that they wanted to be doctors and most heroes either want to be drivers of all sorts thanks to their love for all things moving or other vague things. Very few say they dreamt of being a hero. 

But Vikram says he was decided that he wanted to become a hero even as a child. Apparently, he was very lean during his growing up years and he trained in karate and boxing to prepare for future. Since MGR and Sivaji Ganesan were very popular back then, he would imitate them for hours to get their mannerisms right he says. Well, he also confesses that he even mastered the techniques of film-making just to fulfill his dream of becoming a hero. 

And that helped him in becoming a top league actor, says he. And goes without saying that all his hard work has paid off and he is today among the most wanted in Tamil industry. In fact, directors like Shanker look forward to working with actors like Vikram who give their best and mould themselves for the character. In fact, Aparichitudu will remain a landmark film in the careers of both Shanker and Vikram.
