Though she appeared in a special role in 'Balupu', Raai Laxmi was last seen as a heroine in a Telugu movie in Balakrishna's 'Adhinayakudu'. After changing her name from Lakshmi Rai to Raai Laxmi, she seems to have got really lucky.
She is busy with five films in Tamil at present and now she has bagged a biggie. She has been roped in for a role in A.R.Murugadoss' upcoming film in Bollywood, which stars Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. This female centric film, which is titled 'Akira' is a remake of Tamil super hit film, 'Mouna Guru'.
Raai Laxmi is very excited to be a part of this project, which is her Bollywood debut. Hope she gets more offers there.
