Irrespective of the rumours surrounding his future projects, Superstar Mahesh's associates stated that the numero uno star will take a call on them only after the release of Koratala Siva's movie. Still there is buzz that Srikanth Addala's project 'Brahmotsavam' under PVP's production is likely to take off. Talking about this project, analysts feel that a wrong step with this film might prove fatal. Wait, it's not for Mahesh.
Director Srikanth Addala delivered a colourful movie with 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam' and took years to make 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimallechettu'. If not for Mahesh and Venky, the film would have bitten dust due to lack of engaging story. Though big heroes are appreciating scenes written by Srikanth for a life in them, a cinema needs to have all ingredients in divine proportions. Later, 'Mukunda' exposed his weaker sides as the film failed to hold to theatres even by tenter hooks. He should now make sure 'Brahmotsavam' will not have such loopholes as being a Mahesh film, the stakes will be huge.
All of Srikanth's films have rural backdrops, positive sounding characters and decent screenplay but with fair share of mistakes. Only if a star like Mahesh Babu could pick the odd-ones out from the director's story, scenes and characters, a big hit will be on the cards. Otherwise Srikanth's game will be over soon, because high budgeted movies without proper returns wont encourage producers.
