Call it an irony, but Mahesh Babu's upcoming film Srimanthudu is undergoing a strict budget control strategy. Icing on the cake is none other than the film's hero, Superstar Mahesh Babu himself is overseeing the production formalities to ensure that the budget is well under control and doesn't shoot up astronomically as it happened with his last two films.
Apparently, Mahesh is carefully examining the daily shooting and production expenses and is controlling the excessive expenditures to the best he can. And if the news is to be believed, Mahesh has also cut down his remuneration from what he signed the project for in the beginning to see that the producers are not under budget tensions.
Mahesh's last two films ended up as huge commercial failures even after made at gigantic budgets. Due to improper planning and several reshoots, the producers had to struggle a lot during the making. Mahesh seems to be in no mood to repeat the same mistake with Srimanthudu. Well, with all the care that he has been taking, no wonder Mahesh Babu is called a producer's hero.
