Nani: OMG! Mani Ratnam called me

There was no way I was going to refuse. I got a call from the Mani Ratnam himself asking me to lend my voice for his film, I was like, 'yes,my pleasure,'" shares Nani,who has completed dubbing for actor Dulquer Salmaan (Mammooty's son) in the upcoming film, Ok Bangaram, directed by Mani Ratnam.

The fan boy in Nani comes to the fore when he's talking about Mani Ratnam. "Guess what? He actually sat next to me to explain what exactly he wanted. And now, I understand why he's such a great filmmaker. In one of the scenes where Dulquer,who is wearing headphone, has to say 'enduku' (why?), I said the word very casually, but Mani sir insisted that I say it a little aloud since that's how we do in normal life when there's music blaring in our earphones. That's the kind of attention to detail he brings to every scene and dialogue in his films," says Nani, adding, "I have been told that Mani sir is happy with my work.Maybe that's a good sign of things to come."
