Finally a word has arrived from makers, that the much hyped remake project is no way happening as all Tollywood stars showed empty hands. This is about remake of "Jilla", a Tamil hit flick that has Vijay and Mohan Lal playing the leads as father and son. As the rumours are laid to rest with a sad news, here goes the whole story.
The film was originally shown to Pawan Kalyan and he is asked to pick his choice of actor for father's role, but our Janasena president hasn't showed much interest. As producer RB Choudhary has the remake rights, he has sent the flick to Balakrishna and Kalyanram, but the real life Baabai-Abbai are not convinced for long to act as reel life father-son. Though Kalyanram is a little bit flexible, Balayya isn't interested as the role would kill his image just before his mighty 100th film.
There was buzz sometime back that Venkatesha and Raviteja are going to star in the flick with the story little altered from father-son to a brother-brother kind script. Still, that too never materialised. With almost all the energy in his knees exhausted, finally RB Chowdary has sold out dubbing rights and soon the film will be released in Telugu version. Dot.
