Danam Flies In Bollywood Stars For Daughter's Sangeet

Well, as far as the bride's father goes, he denies it as a piece of gossip saying he did not attend the sangeet due to bad health.

While that sounds totally unbelievable, we will not get into whether he was right or wrong.

Coming back to the story that has made headlines in the city today morning, it is being said by all those who attended the sangeet of ex minister and Congress leader Danam Nagender’s daughter,

Bollywood stars were flown in for the occasion. In fact, some of them even got pictures with the Bollywood celebrities.

So, who did Nagender fly in that the news has created quite a sensation? Apparently, the little group consisted of Ranbir Kapoor, yes, the Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandez and Reitesh Deskhmukh.

Now, the talk is that Ranbir did not shake a leg though he did wish the couple. Of course, Priyanka and Jacqueline did perform for some numbers and the crowd was totally pleased to see Bollywood ‘it’ girls doing some jhatkas and matkas adding some hi-profile filmi glamour to the event.

And not to be forgotten, our own Genelia’s husband Reitesh Deskhmukh compared the show.

Though Nagender had wanted to keep the entire event hush-hush, according to the story, it all came out thanks to enthusiastic guests. It is being said that all the stars were flown in on a private jet hired specially for the occasion.

Last heard, ladies in Page 3 circles were gossiping as to how Danam Nagender who is right now out of power managed to fly in top league Bollywood stars.

Of course, money does buy a lot of things, but sometimes a word from a good contact goes a long way. So many are wondering who that secret Santa is in Nagender’s case.
