Ravibabu's "Avunu 2" has seen more expected audiences that actually the producers thought of. Because the impact left by "Avunu" sometime back to so chilling that cinema lovers got ready to taste another pill of it.
Most of the time, Avunu 2 has heroine Poorna inside the bathroom or the bedroom. Ravibabu tried to carve out a nice glamorous treat with some aesthetic sense but masses doesn't look that way. Some are heard commenting that our creative director has spent most of his budget for soaps in bathrooms and air refreshers in the white-coloured set. Certain times, these repetitive scenes of heroine look boring too. At a time when heroines are showing exceptional acting talent in horror films, Poorna's bathroom 'soap' operas aren't impressive.
On that note, we have to say that most of the graphics scenes in "Avunu 2" have turned so realistic that common audiences never recognise that it is a work of VFX. Ravibabu's eye for creativity and the efforts of technical team deserve a pat on shoulders. However, only if story compliments, these horror thrillers work big time.
