On day one, critics have nailed Naga Chaitanya's "Dochay" as half cooked pan cake, but with time flying the film has proved its mettle. As good Saturday and Sunday proved fruitful for the film, the young Akkineni scion revealed why he picked Dochay, what he liked in Sudhir Varma, his co-stars and future projects.
"I'm being spoken for my romantic roles and love stories. But I want try every genre and kinds of roles in the book. That's the sole reason for picking up Dochay. I love crime comedies and such slap-stick films always entertain all sorts of audiences. I've probably erased that romantic hero tag now", says Chaitu, revealing why he picked this flick. Talking about his director, he says, "Sudhir is having love for crime comedies it seems. After Swamy Ra Ra and Dochay, he satisfied himself first and showcased his strength".
Co-stars did their best job-
Probably some stars have egos to share credit with their colelagues, but Chaitu isn't such type. "Brahmanandam's role as Bullet Babu stunned everyone. It's written only with Brahmi in mind. Poison's role is also winning accolades", he asserts. What about Kriti? "Yeah, she is a gem of course. Her role Meera has come out well. In second half, her crucial role got likened by everyone. On the sets, Kriti is like you give any lengthy dialogue she says it in seconds"
Future projects are here: "Currently a story is in scripting stages which was narrated by Chandu Mondeti. In a couple of weeks a clarity will come over it. Gautham Menon project is also under discussion", he signed off. Good luck Chaitu!!!
