NTR, the names needs to introduction, explanation and exaggeration. Legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is a class apart from other actors. He is a distinguished and high mannered than other politicians of his times. To conclude, he is a great human being who continues to inspire millions of Telugu people on this lonely planet of humans.
In the wake of producer Suresh Babu contemplating to initiate Ramanaidu International Awards falling in the line of ANR International Awards, cinema lovers are eagerly looking forward if Nandamuri family is also coming up with such awards. There is an "NTR National Award" already, a honorary Nandi award started by AP Government post NTR's death, but governments doing such honours always look politicised.
Now that state is bifurcated and AP government is in a fix about conducting Nandi Awards while Telangana state creating their own film awards, tentatively Ekashila award, surely NTR Award is getting limited to one particular state. As his pride and fame belongs to the whole of Telugus worldwid e but not just one state, it will be better if Nandamuri family themselves start honouring a respected dignitary every year.
Probably all the Nandamuri Family members should create a trust and start conducting an annual function in very grand manner to honour a prominent personality with NTR International Award. We hear that Nandamuri family already started to give a thought about it. Better late than never.
