"Earlier story writing was an easy task, because we could watch DVDs of 10 English movies and cook up one. Not it's difficult to do that". This comment comes from none other than the wizard of words Trivikram. If that's coming from a genius like him, we have to seriously take a look at it, as stories are spine for any hero's success, director's victory and producer's happiness.
Director Trivikram feels that the need has come to carve out exclusive stories for Telugu films based on nativity, our mythologies and real life, albeit with a touch of commercial vibrations. "If we copy a English film now, audiences will get it. World cinema has come to our drawing rooms now with the advent of internet and many foreign channels being aired on cable TV. You have to work stories related to Telugu nativity and narrate something new", he explains further.
"We came up with S/o Satyamurthy touching the very basic essence of Ramayana, Lord Rama, and how he follows every single rule in the book. A honest person could be a hero, unlike our regular heroes who flaunt heroism by breaking rules, including driving on wrong side and sitting in a false seat in a bus", asserts Trivikram. No doubt, he is being too honest like his on-screen Viraj Anand.
