Film stars landing in legal and criminal cases is nothing new in Tollywood. The latest inclusion in the list of stars offending the law is young actor Nanduri Uday Kiran alias Scam Bobby of Parare and Friendsbook fame. Uday allegedly attacked MVSN Praveen Kumar, a national level badminton player, at a night pub in Jubilee Hills on the 16th night.
As per the cops statement, Praveen was waiting at the lift to enter the pub and Uday exited at the same time. On seeing Praveen, an inebriated Uday lost his cool and started abusing Praveen and even landed few blows at him. Apparently, Uday alleged that Praveen recently informed the police about him buying drugs.
Praveen quickly filed a complaint at the Jubilee Hills Police Station and the cops arrested Uday and registered a case with sections 506, 509 and 323. The actor is now in remand and he will be submitted in court soon.
