Well, who doesn’t know what a maverick, Ram Gopal Varma is by this time. He has been in the industry for over 25 years now. His school of making movies itself projects his unconventional mindset. Those who have read his books and seen his interviews have a deeper idea on him as a creative man. Plus, RGV is an active micro-blogger who takes a dig at everything happening around, attracting controversy as a part of his publicity game. He doesn’t spare anyone, even priests and Gods.
He tweets every fortnight or so, and especially when his new movie is set for release. RGV often boasts that he is an unemotional person. In one of his Ramuism episodes when an anchor asked whether he ever cuddled his daughter when she was child, pat replied Ramu, “Never”. However this may not be the reason why she looks at him as an animal, as RGV himself has told recently at his 365 Days movie’s promotional interaction with media.
He said,” Me and my daughter have different opinions and ideologies. Probably that’s why she looks at me as if she is looking at an animal.” Guess what? RGV asked her daughter Revathi to look at the script of 365 Days and she suggested some inputs and changes, according to him.
As reported earlier, 365 Days is RGV’s first movie to get a U cert from censors. It actually deals with the problems that pop up after marriage and how a loving couple comes to spat on everyday small issues after getting married, says he. In fact this is the first time RGV has made a pure romantic love story with sentiments. “It is like K.Viswanadh making Raktha Charithra,” quips the director.
