Ace director Dasari Narayana Rao has flamming the ‘commercial’ way of Telugu producers yet again. On the eve of his birthday today, Dasari spoke to media houses to say that decisions taken by producers always lead to increased in budgets.
‘Heroines stay in Mumbai, technicians reside in Chennai and heroes live between four walls. As soon as a film is released, bhajan batches report to heroes that their film collected 10 crores on opening day, which makes hero to think about hiking 2 crores of his remunerations. But who has dare to reveal actuals and facts?’, asks Dasari, explaining how false propaganda is working negatively. As producers have taken the decisions of cutting ads to many media houses as cost cutting measures, he reacts, ‘such decisions are taken earlier too and they resulted only in escalating budgets’. But why?
‘From managing hero’s remuneration to flight tickets of heroines for their breaks between shooting schedules all fall under budget. Do we have control over them?’ questioned Dasari, hinting out that cutting ads to media isn’t a good thing but cutting miscellaneous costs that are not related to film-promotion will help a producer survive.
