If it is an interview with veteran film maker Dasari, definitely critics and media would lookout for some hidden and obvious comments. Popular for his bold and controversial statements, even seemingly simple comments mostly get blown out of proportion. Interestingly Dasari kept his comments low in a recent interview trying not to add to the controversies.
As said, though he keeps his comments like a low key affair, they pheripherally touch all the issues and controversies of the film industry he was involved in. Giving his opinion on MAA elections, Dasari says that egos played dominant role though he tried for unanimous vote on the President election.
On the controversy regarding not mentioning megastar Chiranjeevi’s name and jumping to Pawan Kalyan’s name after NTR & ANR, Dasari feels that it isn’t necessary to take all the names always and reminds that he even missed icons like Krishna, Shoban Babu, Krishnam Raju, Mohan Babu, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna and others who had created heir own style in films.
Dasari says he took NTR, ANR and Pawan Kalyan’s name in the context of stylish star Allu Arjun’s stylish image. Mentioning their name was out of context. Dasari observes, “If I take any names then it’s a controversy and if I don’t, even then it’s going to be controversy.” On producers, Dasari thinks that today’s producers are incapable of exercising control over their budgets. They are helpless these days.
