Meenakshi Dixit, the long legged lass who sizzled beside Superstar Mahesh Babu in the blockbuster Dookudu, will soon have a much discussed Bollywood debut with her upcoming adult political satire, P Se PM Tak. The film is directed by Kundan Shah, one of the most popular comedy directors of the 80s and 90s.
Apparently, the makers initially wanted to cast Madhuri Dixit for the lead role. When Madhuri declined the offer, Meenakshi grabbed the role after impressing the makers among thousand other actresses. The film is a dark comedy that revolves around Meenakshi, who plays a 200 rupee prostitute, becoming the country's PM in just 4 days.
Ever since she gained prominence with her sizzling act in Dookudu, Meenakshi went on to appear in enthrall the masses in popular films like Bodyguard, Daruvu and NTR's Baadshah. Meenakshi also acted as a heroine in Srikanth's Devaraya and the recently released Adavi Kachina Vennela. Meenakshi is hoping that this film will pave a successful route to her Bollywood career.
