Raghava Lawrence’s Ganga (Muni 3) which was released on May 1st created ripples at the box office. Raghava Lawrence’s comedy and horror elements, Kovai Sarla comedy attracted the audiences towards the theatres.
The Tamil version of Ganga (Muni 3) reached Rs 50 Crore mark. Now, the latest reports suggest that Ganga (Muni 3) earned around Rs 17.6 Crore at AP/Telangana box office by the end of its third week.
This is the third highest among Tamil dubbed films after Shankar’s Enthiran (Robo) and ‘I’. Needless to say Raghava Lawrence elated with the response for this movie.
Ganga (Muni 3) brought benefits to the traders and distributors. Ganga (Muni 3) features Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menon in female lead roles. Taapsee Pannu portrays both glamour and character based performance where as, for Nithya Menon it is purely a character-based performance in the flash back sequence.
