Porn star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone was booked under obscenity case. The case was filed by a housewife from Mumbai, who has alleged that she found obscene, pornographic material on Sunny’s website while surfing the Internet.
The complainant, Anjali Vinod Palan told the police she had heard a lot about the actor and searched for her pictures on a social networking site where she found link to her website.When she entered the website she allegedly found Leone’s obscene pictures and videos on the website. Palan approached the Dombivli police to register complaint.
The woman in her complaint alleged that Sunny posted pictures that amounted to circulating pornographic material. She opined that such type of posts poison the minds of people and especially children.
Police said charges have been filed against the actress under the Information Technology Act. Sunny has been booked under sections 292, 292 (A), 294 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code for obscenity. Police said that they will take action to block the website at the earliest
