A chief Minister has to be watchful in knowing what is happening around him. KCR is no exception to this. He is well aware of all aspects of the Tollywood and also the link the Telugu Desam Party has with the Tollywood. He is also known about why some persons are doing rounds to his office and also to that of offices of his son and daughter.
We can understand the real picture if we look deep into two episodes that have taken place very recently.
Rajendra Prasad, soon after successfully contesting the MAA elections, called on the KCR as a matter of courtesy. While speaking to Rajendra Prasad, KCR is reported to have told Rajendra Prasad that he was well aware of the fact that who was behind Rajendra Prasad’s victory. Also, he is reported to have told Rajendra Prasad that he was well aware of Rajendra Prasad success secret.
This being the case, reports of several film producers contemplating to shift the Tollywood industry to Amaravati, the new capital, under the leadership of D. Sureshbabu spread. It is said that the issue is being seriously debated.
After three days of spreading the news about plans to shift Tollywood to Amaravati, Minister Talasani Srinivas yadav at a meeting issued a veiled threat that he was aware of who is doing rounds to TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu’s house and asked such person to be careful. He reminded such persons that the government of the day is TRS.
These examples are enough to conclude that KCR is apparently kept a watchful eye on goings on in Tollywood.
