Will  it be a third win for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ? Or will Mumbai  Indians (MI) steal its thunder ?  That is what fans want to know as the  grand final match of Indian Premier League takes place today, May 24, at  Kolkata, 8 pm. Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings and Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians both have thousands of fans rooting for  one or the other team.

This IPL had 58 matches spread over 43 days. Mumbai Indians worked very hard to get to the finals, while CSK had some tough moments too, before getting to  the finals. Interestingly, Chennai Super Kings is playing its sixth final in the Indian Premier League’s 8 year history. But they have lost twice in a row in the finals in the  last two years, including one against Mumbai Indians in 2013.
