Manchu Manoj tied the knot with Pranathi in Hyderabad in a lavish ceremony which saw the who's who of Tollywood and Kollywood mingle with each other. Several celebrities like Rajinikanth, Balakrishna, Trisha, Rana Daggubati, Hansika, Arya, Raveena Tandon, Jayasudha, Jayaprada, Nani, Allari Naresh and Vikram Prabhu attended the wedding.
A grand sangeet ceremony was held on May 18. It started off with Allari Naresh's voice-over highlighting interesting bits of Manchu Manoj's life. Vishnu Manchu also gave away a piece of advice for the young couple. He said, "Marriage is about caring for each other and you share your life with one woman till the end," Balakrishna said, in his trademark style.
The highlight of the show was undoubtedly, Mohan Babu shaking a leg with Jayasudha, Jayaprada, Raveena Tandon and Hansika dancing their hearts out to hit tracks. THe crowd broke into loud claps and whistles. Manoj's sister Lakshmi Manchu and her husband Andy performed on a medly.
