Director Puri Jagan is engulfed in many controversies these days. After being publicised that he grabbed story from an aspiring writer for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, here comes another controversy hitting him.
“Jyothi Lakshmi” featuring Charmi in the lead role is in discussions now. It is spread that Puri Jagan made this film basing on Malladi Venkata Krishnamurthy’s novel “Mr Parankusam”. Rumours have that Puri Jagan paid just 1 lakh to own this story and has written adapted screenplay and new version dialogues for it.
Critics are calling that when Puri paid almost one crore to Vakkantam Vamsi for “Temper” story, how come they pay just 1 lakh to this novel?
