It is known to our readers that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is undertaking a Kissan Yatra against the proposed Land Acquisition Bill and the problems being faced by the farmers. The yatra will begin from Telangana itself and that too from CM KCR’s home district. It is reliably learnt that few Congress leaders of Andhra Pradesh proposed Rahul Gandhi to visit Amaravathi, the upcoming capital region of the state.
They want him to voice against the ongoing Land Pooling in the capital region. However neither Rahul Gandhi nor AICC is in favour of this tour as they feel people are still angry on Congress and any untoward incident there will lead to a national level damage for the party. It is even said that Rahul Gandhi advised AP leaders to go smooth on the capital issue as Congress may be projected as Anti-Development and Anti-AP by TDP.
Rahul Gandhi was tour Telangana on 11th and 12th but the yatra was postponed to 14th and 15th due to the ongoing Parliament sessions which are extended by three more days. Rahul Gandhi will do a 15 Kilometer Padayatra in five villages of Telangana. K Chandrasekhar Rao’s home district, Medak has very huge number of farmers who committed suicides in the past one year, Rahul Gandhi will console their families.
