It was almost a year back, Mani Ratnam announced his plans to do a Spy thriller with front line stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu and two beautiful ladies Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shruti Haasan.
However, the most talked about project was shelved due to lack of funds and Mani went on to do OK Bangaram, which is a smash hit in Tamil and Telugu.
Latest reports from B-town have it that Mani Ratnam has got nod from Aishwarya, recently. If things take a positive shape, Mani Ratnam is likely to start shooting in early 2016.
