Despite releasing to mixed reviews and divide talk on its release day, the 2015's biggest grosser, S/O Satyamurthy, came out with flying colours eventually and even entered the 50 crore club recently. The film is still collecting some marginal shares across several screens and entered its 40th day. However, here comes a twist.
Celebrating the film's 40th day, the makers have freshly released new posters in which a tagline is turning everyone's attention. One of the posters mention, 'Some People's Envy...Producer's Pride.' This is indeed little shocking since the words have a strong tone. Interestingly, the film's director Trivikram Srinivas had condemned the critics' and their confusing reviews, in one of the promotional interviews.
Are the makers targeting the critics? Or is it someone from the industry that they are aiming these words at? With the kind of negative feedback they got soon after the film's release, no doubt that the morale of the makers was let down. Perhaps that is the reason why they have waited until the film entered the 50 crore club to vent out their frustration.
