Finally opening up about the leak of her nude images on the internet, actress Preeti Gupta said that the act is bizarre and a violation of privacy'. Stating that actors are vulnerable, Preeti further said that she is very angry about the leak. A week ago, Preeti Gupta's nude images from her film on homosexuality, Unfreedom, were leaked on the internet and went viral across the country.
Popular for her role in the superhit Hindi series Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, Preeti Gupta said that shooting nude scenes are very challenging and that it needs a lot of discipline and dedication. Preeti revealed that she acted in the film since she felt that the content made sense to her. "It is not the film which should be banned but it is the acts like these which must be banned", said the 29 year old actress.
Unfreedom was directed by Indian-American Raj Amit Kumar. The film was released in America on 17th May but it was banned by the Indian censor board when the director refused to delete the intimate scenes, which the censor panel objected to. Preeti lashed out at the censor members saying that the audiences' intelligence must be respected and that they should be allowed to watch the film to get the message across.
