Bollywood superstars Aamir, Salman and Shahrukh Khan avoid releasing their movies at the same time with Shahrukh preferring Diwali, Aamir Christmas and Salman for Eid.
That is not going to be the case for Eid 2016 though. Shah Rukh’s Raees is slated for Eid 2016 and now Salman Khan joins the race with his Sultan.
Salman Khan and SRK who have kept their differences aside recently will fight it out at the box office with Sultan and Raees respectively.
Salman has become a phenomenal power at the Indian Box Office and there is no answer to SRK’s dominance in overseas. This clash is not going to end up good for both the films as they will surely eat into each other’s business.
SRK’s Raees is directed by Rahul Dholakia and Salman’s Sultan will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced Yash Raj Films.
Raees was the first to book its seat for Eid 2016 and Sultan is not going to miss out on Salman’s favorite season.
Will the Khans decide to avoid the clash or stay put to see what happens when their movies clash? We have seen this face off for Don and Jaaneman where SRK came out as the winner. Of course Salman is not at his best during that time. He has become an unstoppable force in the recent years and it is not going to be easy for SRK in the second round.
