Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Lingaa has been surrounded by controversies right from the launch of the project. Now plans are on to make a spoof on these controversies. Tamil actor Srinivasan will be playing the lead role in the comedy flick to be produced by Singaravelan. Singaravelan, one of the distributors for Lingaa suffered heavy losses.
Lingaa directed by K S Ravikumar was released in a grand manner on Rajini’s birthday last year but the movie bombed at the box office incurring heavy losses for the distributors. The superstar even intervened and gave Rs 10 crore as compensation.
