‘Basthi’, the launch vehicle of Shreayan, senior actress Jayasudha’s son, has been wrapped up in flat 36 days. Directed and produced by entrepreneur Vasu Manthena, the film’s teaser was unveiled by Jayasudha on Thursday in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, Vasu said, “It’s a simple love story. The lead characters fall in love amidst adverse conditions and the story follows how the guy bails out his love from such state of affairs.” Shreayan said, “I never considered acting until three years ago when I decided to give it a shot.
I learnt acting from Mumbai’s Barry John Acting Studio. After the course I told mom about my film aspirations. She was surprised and was reluctant to encourage me because she knows what it takes to succeed in the industry.
But later she gave her consent,” said the lanky lad who has romanced Pragathi in the flick. The film’s audio will be unveiled by Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao on June 21 in Hyderabad.
