Director Puri Jagan has now arrived with Jyothi Lakshmi, which has a volatile subject of a software guy falling in love with a prostitute as its storyline. Apart from his regular mark satires Puri has thrown some pungent punches with minutest lines.
In one particular scene, one of hero's friend goes to a beautiful looking prostitute and showcases his dancing talents exaggeratedly. He boasts of his flirtatious acts with his body language. Looking at this, the girl asks, "Are you from Bhimavaram?", for which this guys says yes and asks her how come she knows that. She replies "Only people from that place flaunt these extras".
This is a pure Puri mark satire on Bhimavaram youths which many didn't liked. Those in the know say there is nothing wrong what our director said. No offenses meant.
