In the superhit flick 'Swamy Ra Ra', Two Nigerians acted as the ones who buy antiquities from Character Artist Jeeva and even offers crores for an ancient Ganesh idol. These guys took their reel character too seriously and ended up behind the bars.
Cyberabad police took two Cameroon Nationals (Alex Rodrigue Eboko [27], Ndim Abake Mathieu [31]) who are pursuing under-graduation in Hyderabad into custody following a complaint filed by a pet lover for duping him to the tune of Rs 50,000.
In April this year, The Culprits placed an Ad on a website claiming blue and gold macaws in their possession are up for sale. Upon seeing the Ad, A Pet Lover from Serilingampally came in touch with these Guys and the deal was fixed for Rs 1.5 lakh. Even Rs 50,000 has been deposited in their bank account as advance. When the duo began demanding more money, The victim grew suspicious and immediately filed a complaint with Cyber Crime Police.
Cops arrested the two guys from their house at Tolichowki and they were sent to Judicial Custody after producing in the court. Their passports, laptop, cell phones and Rs 40,000 cash has been seized during the raid. During the investigation, Police came to know that this duo has also duped many people with the Ad on the website promising to offer various varieties of steroids, potency drugs, botox injections, human growth hormones and sleeping pills.
