Speaking about his experiences on playing Kalakeya, Prabhakar said that he was pleasantly surprised to be offered such a meaty role in the costliest movie ever made in India. "When Rajamouli sir read out my dialogues on the first day, I couldn't understand a thing and Kiliki language was a tough nut to crack, but I managed to master the language with my wife's help", said Prabhakar.
The actor also revealed that when he first wore the disgustingly terrifying Kalakeya makeup and went in front of Rajamouli on the first day of his shoot, every crew member was stunned to see his deadly avatar. Prabhakar also said that he even suffered from fever that night due to the bad omen (dishti). The humble actor also said that he considers Rajamouli as a god who gave him his professional identity.
