Jr NTR has delivered a big hit these days in the form of "Temper" but the final collections of the film hasn't excited him much. Much awaited 50 crore club isn't made possible with this action cop treat carved out by Puri Jagan. Despite the blockbuster talk, the film succumbed in the end. And he took literally 6 months before starting his next project with Sukumar. Guess why?
For the now, the news in publicity is that NTR is doing an out and out commercial film with father sentiment around it. Though Jagapathi Babu was supposed to do NTR's father, later it turned out to be someone else and Jaggu Bhai became his villain. Has the characters just changed or the story line too? We hear that Jr NTR has made a main alteration to the script by making the hero character don the suit of a khaki yet again. With Baadshah and Temper becoming hits at box office, seems like Tarak is obsessed with the police dress. Highly placed sources hinted that he is playing the role of stylish and tough cop yet again.
Well, there is no wrong in playing a cop on silver screen any number of times, but if that is happening only for the case of scoring a hit then it may boomerang. Looking at the way Sukumar churns out terrific emotion even for a simple screen, probably it's now doubtful how he will handle a high octane character like that of a cop. Falling in sentimental soup is fine, but let's hope they rise like a phoenix with a blockbusters. Fans are expecting nothing less than that.
