Ace director Mani Ratnam finally is back to the path of success with Ok Bangaram (Ok Kanmani in Tamil). The director is now working on his next project. This time he is attempting an action entertainer which is not the usual genre of the veteran director.
This new project will have Karthi and Dulquer playing the lead roles while Shruti Hassan is the female lead. Shruti previously had to forego two offers from Mani Ratnam due to dates issue. This time she wants to grab the opportunity at any cost.
Mani Ratnam is out of the country and his team is tight-lipped about the project. They only say everything will be decided once he is back. The project will have Mani’s usual music composer, AR Rahman as the music director. We will bring you more details of the film as it unfolds.
