Has anyone anticipated that the film which got a mixed response on Day One has now grossed 160 crores from worldwide box office?

Already Baahubali has crossed the collections made by Attarintiki Daredi and Magadheera in their full run with just 3 days of its run at box office. Okay, we have to agree that if those films released in 1000 odd theatres, Baahubali has hit nearly 4200 screens making this mighty feat possible. Still, if the first day talk is negative and mixed, then humongous collections aren't possible. At a time when Baahuabli is penetrating deep into hearts of people with increasing revenues reported each passing day, have a look at the factors that led to the mixed talk on first day.

From Simhadri to Eega, Rajamouli taught us one thing. In first half, there will be couple of kick-ass moments where a villain is going to exert complete domination over the hero. He has shown spectacles where a heroine's glamour dominates in songs. He's the one who created a bang for interval episodes, and his interval bangs featuring a wholesome action and bloodshed giving hair rising experience. Quite contrastive to what he has invented and entertained people with, Rajamouli changed the complete game in "Baahubali".

His heroine looks glamorous only in songs, but otherwise she is smeared with dirt. His mighty hero has no suffering from villains in the first half like the Hercules. Interval bang, oh my god, this being an epic war film there should be gallons of blood around. But Rajamouli resorted to a simple emotional bang that raised the bar among common people, but has upset critics and hardcore admirers of Rajamouli.

As they are expecting the question paper in the format designed by him, he himself changed the order, the pattern and methods. That affected mindsets and hence mixed talk is erupted. Those people who are disappointed on first day have watched the movie again and felt magic.
