Oscar winning music composer A R Rahman and Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan have teamed up with renowned British filmmaker Richard Curtis for raising awareness about the UN’s sustainable development goals to be adopted later this year.
In the UN’s ambitious project which will be adopted by 193 world leaders in September 2015 at the UN will aim to end extreme poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change for everyone by 2030. Curtis aims to effectively use the power of radio and will work with global pop up radio station ‘Radio Everyone’.
As part of the campaign, Rahman, Nigerian hip hop recording artiste Ice Prince and English singer-songwriter, musician Peter Gabriel along with global communicators will support Radio Everyone in reaching as many of the world’s seven billion people in a week.
