All these days there are huge speculations regarding the role of media baron and the visionary behind Ramoji Film City, Ramoji Rao and his role in "Baahubali" movie. Some said that he is the indirect producer of the film; some said he's just praising it for the sake of the film being a true giant creation from Telugu industry. With "Baahubali" releasing today, everything could be clearly read.
Makers of "Baahubali" have credited Ushakiron Movies as their Chief financiers. Nor any bank neither any other private financial firm was seen lending money to Baahubali, but only Ushakiron is on the banner. As usual, a special thanking credit is also given to Ramoji Rao. And these two things explain possibilities of Rajamouli bringing the investment from Ramoji into the film. This may not be direct financial investment, but through giving Ramoji Film City for shoot purposes. That's a fantastic idea, as a studio joining hands to produce a big movie.
However, it's pretty unclear why Ramoji himself hasn't turned producer rather he has just ended up as a financier. Anyway, it's tough for anyone to believe that the whole of Baahubali was shot in Ramoji Film City itself except for few scenes.
