The second edition of a popular website Gold Medals award function will take place in a grand fashion at the ITC Grand Chola, Chennai on the 19th of July amidst leading celebrities of the Kollywood film industry.
Apart from the awards for meritorious acting and technical skills, we have two other People’s Choice Awards (Male and Female) powered by the Tamil cinema fans, who drive the industry with their undying support and extraordinary passion. The two People’s Choice Polls have been online in our website from the 31st of May, 2015 with widespread participation from fans. These polls were conducted in the most transparent way in which the participants voted with their log-in credentials either from Google or Facebook or Twitter.
There were four nominees in each of the People’s Choice poll (Male and Female). The candidates were selected based on their success in 2014. These polls which were live for the past 40 days closed last night at 11.59 PM.
Samantha wins the People’s Choice Poll (Female) securing 57.4% of the total vote share.
