SS Rajamouli has failed for the 10th time in a row. Yes, you read it right. But don't jump into quick conclusions. The auteur of films like Eega, Magadheera failed to fail again. With his latest offing Baahubali continues to mint money at the marquees, it's yet again proved that Rajamouli failed to deliver a flop. Setting cash registers ringing, the epic war film managed to have grossed over Rs 115 Crore in two days in all languages across the globe.
"Rajamouli has been failing to fail. He hasn't delivered a single flop in a career spanning over 15 years. None of his films have failed at Box Office and managed to rake in moolah more than the film's budgets bringing in huge profits for his producers who laughed all the way to banks," said a film historian and critic. Baahubali - The Beginning is Rajamouli's 10th movie as filmmaker and all 9 films he had directed previously were successful at the ticket windows.
It's all round applause for Rajamouli and social media is giving big thumbs up for the filmmaker for his bravery and making his dream into reality. Going by trade pundits, the film has almost reached breakeven for its Hindi dubbed version which was sold for Rs 12 Crore.
