It is interesting to see Rana Daggubati being given so much importance in the promos and publicity of Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali.
It is understandable if Rana is given importance for Baahubali Hindi version promotions as he did few movies in Bollywood already. But why is Rana highlighted in the promotions of Baahubali here in Telugu states?
Rana doesn't have a hit to his credit till now and Prabhas is one of the biggest stars in Tollywood. Rajamouli must be aware of this but why is Rana given so much importance?
Is it because of the prominence of his character in the film or is there any reason behind it. If the buzz is to be believed, Suresh Babu asked Rajamouli that Rana must be given equal importance during the promotions.
Rana was sceptical about accepting the villain role, but he agreed to be a part of it after initial hesitance. Equal importance to him in the promotions was the only thing that Suresh Babu has asked for. Besides this Rana also played vital role in bringing Karan Johar on board for the Hindi version.
Although Rana is highlighted in the promos his character is not so dominating on the whole, said sources. Prabhas as Baahubali has the lion share and Rebelstar fans are surely in for an unforgettable treat.
