The Mega60 birthday bash that took place at Park Hyatt on 22nd was a glittering success with celebs from all over the country attending the soiree organized perfectly by Ram Charan. A special menu was prepared for guests and the complete standout was the Chiru Dosa. Apparently, the dosas were made at Chiru's house and the recipe was invented by none other than the Mega family itself.
Around 25 years ago, Chiru was shooting in Mysore and he ate soft, fluffy dosas served at a roadside dhaba. Chiru tried his best to find out the recipe from the dhaba owners but they refused. Even Chiru's cook could not figure out the myth behind such fluffy dosas. On his return, Chiru, being a good cook himself, started experimenting on his own and in the process, he invented a totally new fluffy, oil-less dosa.
Many celebs like Rajinikanth, Sachin Tendulkar and Hollywood star Richard Gere are huge fans of these dosas which are served with groundnut chutney and veg or non-veg curries. Ram Charan has already applied for the patent right of these dosas with the name Chiru Dosa, and proudly says that the patent will be his birthday gift to his dad. Not stopping here, Cherry also has plans to start food trucks that will serve Chiru Dosas across AP and Telangana at affordable costs.
