Unfazed by the criticism, Teja make it clear Industry is important for him not just few individuals. He yet again criticizes the audience for making one more 'babu' formula flick 'Srimanthudu' a huge success.
Teja dares to say Telugu stars only believe in self-appreciation and doesn't know how to appreciate good content citing several big heroes rejected 'Ghajini' Telugu remake. He feels Box Office collections can't be a measure to say a film has a good content as a section of people, who throng theaters every week in search of some entertainment, contributes to the success if budget wasn't too high. According to him, the actual audience join the regular film goers in big numbers only when a film like 'Baahubali' is being made.
The filmmaker did admit all his films were compared to 'Jayam' as it is a cult film. He don't think for a second to declare films such as Okkadu, Gangothri and Nijam have a similar storyline.
