Popular music director cum filmmaker RP Patnaik is all set to take a legal action on the producers of the superhit Telugu TV series Atho Athamma Kuthuro which is being telecast on a popular entertainment TV channel for the last two months.
In a press meet this afternoon, RP Patnaik alleged that the producers of the above series have used the songs of his yet to be released horror film, Thulasidalam, without his permission. RP further said that he is filing a legal suit against the producers and demanded a compensation to the tune of Rs. 50 lakhs.
Atho Athamma Kuthuro has been on air since June and it has all the popular stars in the TV industry and it also marks the comeback of yesteryear's glamorous heroine Nirosha. RP's Thulasidalam has been in making since the last couple of years. The film stars an all new cast and it was shot majorly in the US.
